MAGFest 7It was awesome. Basically, MAGfest is a music and gaming fest that is four days long. I spent most of my time in either jamspace or in the game room. Jamspace was this room with a stage set up in it, so you and a group of people could go up and pretend to be famous and what not. Myself and a couple of people from the ocremix.org forums decided beforehand that we wanted to create a Celtic ensemble type thing, and did quite a bit of playing and performed at the open mic concert.
The gameroom was this huge ballroom at the hotel that was filled with TVs, consoles, and a variety of games. There was even a Street Fighter 4 set up, which was awesome. Considering that it hasn't even been released yet. I'd probably be more excited about that if I had ever played a Street Fighter game in my life, but I haven't. Still pretty cool, nonetheless.
Definitely going again next year!
