RTX RemindersWith RTX just around the corner I thought it would be helpful to post a few reminders for you guys regarding your visit to the event.
1. It will be warm out. Some of you may be coming from hotter places but some of you are definitely coming from cooler places. We are expecting temperatures in the mid 90s over the weekend, so make sure you stay hydrated and don't over exert yourself while outside. Also, sunblock is your friend in helping you prevent sunburns.
2. There may be mosquitos and bugs out this weekend. Mosquito repellant is your friend.
3. If you want to be featured as a zombie on Sunday please bring either some kind of distressed zombie attire and some zombie makeup would be a plus. We will have some rudimentary supplies however if you bring your own it will probably look much better.
4. We are not the only guests at the hotel. I'm sure it goes without saying, but please be respectful of other guests who may not be part of RTX and do not be the jackasses who are super loud keeping up other guests at night.
5. Be safe, have fun.

Safe travels everyone! Don't say anything to get you detained, it's a bad way to start the event. Remember, if they ask you why you're going don't say, "to meet cockbites I know on the internet!"
Having arrived yesterday, I was struck with a wall of heat and humidity. Yay for air conditioning!

So, we are having high 70s for temps this week in Boston, and its the best weather so far this year. I have no idea how I will deal with the Texas heat... we will see.

You don't think open bite wounds to my neck and head will get in the way of my flying out there, do you?

We have a saying in Austin, "if you don't like the weather in Austin, just wait 10 min."
My point is everyone should bring a coat, an umbrella, and maybe a light sweater/jacket. Just in case.

I guess I'll get the badges Saturday morning. Will i be able to pay for the shuttles you are providing Saturday also? If no I can drive myself.
Anyway, it's going to be a blast. I can't wait to meet some awesome new people.
I have my letter they sent saying about the pool party at jacks (unless jack is richer than we think and he owns the hilton i think that may not happen :P ), hopefully i'll get it signed at the same time i pick up my badge :P
