Xbox One thoughts:Well, its finally been announced, and to be honest, I'm not that impressed. While the hardware and specs are impressive on this new Xbox, the features are less than promising.
Pros:
- Power: it has a x64 8-core AMD CPU, USB 3.0 ports, 500 GB hard drive and 8GB DDR3 RAM
- Gamerscore migration (yay)
- Not always online
- In-game DVR
Cons:
- No backwards compatibility (all that power and it can't do this?)
- Needs Kinect to even work
- Game discs are one-time use, similar to PC games
- Cloud storage save required (bullshit)
- Name of console (but still better than "Xbox 720", which is retarded. This is a minor qualm.)
- Too heavy on entertainment other than games
- Controller design suck...

- Controller design sucks, imho. Specifically, the guide location and the Start and back buttons.
In conclusion: Not getting this for a long time. If Halo is the only thing to look forward to on this thing, its not worth it. As much as I love Halo, that's just too many damn repercussions to deal with. I'll either get a PS3 or a PS4 before I even consider spending money on this thing.
