Mooney announces their latest aircraft!On Tuesday, April 4th, 2006, Mooney Airplane Comany announced their newest aircraft to the GA world. The all-new Mooney M20TN Acclaim is THE FASTEST SINGLE-ENGINE AIRCRAFT IN PRODUCTION TODAY. Beating the Lancair Columbia 400 by 15 knots, the all-new Mooney Acclaim cruises at 234 knots, with a range of 1,525 nm, and a payload of 4 person(s), 3/4 a tank of fuel, and 45 lbs of luggage. How great is that??? Only two of these magnificent aircraft are in existince, and I was able to see one of them at the 2006 Sun 'N Fun fly-in on April 4th-10th in Lakeland, Fla. Pic in profile.
