Drunk Tank #106 and RTX infoIf you guys haven't checked out our latest podcast you should totally go listen to it. You can stream it on that page, download it, or get it via iTunes. This week we have Michael from Achievement Hunter's Rage Quit series sit in with us.
I also wanted to take the time to flesh out some more details about our first ever community event, RTX, which will be taking place May 27th through 29th. This will be a small gathering of only 200 people who will spend the weekend bumming around Austin with us. I'm not ready to get too specific yet, but we have a kick off event planned for Friday evening, we rented out a couple screens Alamo Drafthouse for a few hours of screening and big screen gaming on Saturday, a studio tour and partying at the studio after the Drafthouse, and finally on Sunday you'll have a chance to take part in a Rooster Teeth Production. To take part in the Sunday event you will have to fill out a release waiver for insurance purposes (its that awesome). We will be wrapped up by dusk on Sunday. We are working on securing a deal with a hotel and also securing transportation to haul everyone around Austin to the various events in case you need a ride. Tickets will be going on sale next Friday April 1st at 2PM Central time. Tickets will first be available to sponsors for an hour. If any tickets remain at 3PM we will open them up to everyone else. We will continue to update you guys with details as the date draws closer, but rest assured, we're doing our best to fill the weekend with awesome events. We'll keep you posted.

You're not even supposed to be on the site until you're 16.
Pretty rich coming from a guy who spells "Jeff" with a "Geo".
Edit: For those asking, I highly doubt anyone under the age of 18 will be able to attend the shoot on Sunday if it requires a release waiver. Generally, to consent to those things you have to have the legal right to do so. In the state of Texas (possibly the entire US? I'm not certain), you are not an adult (and therefore cannot waive insurance claims and such) until you are 18.
This is just speculation on my part, but hopefully the staff will clarify before tickets go on sale

Just out of curiosity, has the short featuring the 200 attendees been written yet, or will they be worked into a future script?
They previously stated that tickets would be around $25 or so. That would cover the weekend events, and possibly travel to and from the events around town. Not included (obviously) are hotel and travel to/from Austin.
