Valentines day...Valentines day is just another opportunity for a pointless fight. I don't think I have ever gotten anything good out of valentines day - not recently anyway. All my efforts are either not good enough, and result in a fight (because clearly I don't love her), or they are too extravagant, and result in a fight (because clearly I am not financially responsible and will take us to the brink of ruin just to try and get laid... which doesn't happen.) one of those Damned if you do, damned if you don't situations, and over the past 5 years or so, I would much rather V-Day just be another day of the week.
