Hi, friends! How are you? Los Angeles is great, thanks for asking.

I've been working with this production company, and we're responsible for a triology of documentaries that welcome worldwide participation. Basically, we have participants from every country in the world film something on the same day, and then all the footage is submitted by users and edited together into a documentary, telling the world's story in one day. The first was on 10/10/10 and the second on 11/11/11. As you can probably guess, this year's filming date will be 12/12/12.

I know a lot of you here are filmmakers, so I wanted to invite you to join the event! We're partnered with Vimeo (you may have seen their plug for our project on their website) and absolutely anyone anwhere can join. If you could tell the world any story, what would it be? This year's theme to help you think of ideas is "What do you have? What do you need?" Film yourself or others or whatever you want on Dec 12!
