I went back and read the first news post today and It was nostalgic. I remember seeing that post for the first time 4 years ago and getting excited. Finally something gaming/achievement related on Roosterteeth! I knew no matter what I wanted to be a part of this. Never in a million years did I think I would be working for them.
I remember watching all the early official AH videos, there was Burnout, Grand Theft Auto, Eragon, etc. But the video that really pushed me to make my own stuff was made by our very own Mike. I watched his Darkness - Roadkill achievement guide and thought it was awesome. So after doing some research, buying some equipment and watching tutorials on YouTube, I made my very first achievement guide (I still cringe everytime I watch it ) But every video I made, I learned and got better. After 3+ years and roughly 200 videos I became an official member of Achievement Hunter, which is a dream come true.
Everyone knows how much this website and this community means to me. I am thankful everyday that I am given this opportunity to play video games and make stupid videos that people enjoy as a job. So I wanted to thank everyone at RoosterTeeth/Achievement Hunter, the community, all my friends and family, and most importantly every single person who watched my videos. Whether you liked them, loved them or hated them, you made me want to make more videos.
So Happy 4th Birthday Achievement Hunter! Here's to 4 more years of stupid fucking videos

Truthfully, When I first saw the AH site and read about the concept. I didn't think it was gonna succeed. The internet was full of game sites that showed you how to get cheiveables. I must admit, I am glad I am wrong because AH has provided me with loads of entertainment and fun.
In dedication to 9 long years of Rooster Teeth, 4 years of Achievement Hunter within those 9 years, and all the other awesome things created by this epic company, I will attempt to host a game party every month, starting on September 1, 2012 with Halo 2! Thank you, Rooster Teeth! Thank you for being the best company...of all time!
