Big Dump Truck Outside Shaking My House...Wow. Thirteen tons of vehicle vibrating the neighborhood. That's all it takes? I am lucky there are never any earthquakes in Georgia.
I work in DC and when we had that earthquake a while back we all ran out to the atrium balcony after the shaking stopped. We asked the security guard who was sitting down on the first floor what happened. Her response? She very casually said that a big truck had just passed by and there was nothing to worry about. She was actually really annoyed that we were bothering her with it.
