Downloading something on two xboxesI have two xboxes in my house. One belongs to me and one to my brother. We generally use our own unless we are playing together, as we usually have only one copy of the game. Now the premise of what I do is that when you download something it is tied to your gamertag and to your xbox.
What you do if you want to have the same thing on two xboxes is that you can download the DLC/Game/Redeemable Code on one xbox with one gamertag. Now you can copy the item and it will work on that xbox and with that gamertag independently. This allows you to use the content with anyone on the downloaded xbox and anytime you log into a new xbox with that gamertag you can use the content.
TL;DR: If you download something on xbox marketplace it is tied to the gamertag and to the xbox so you can copy it and it will work on any xbox that the person who bought it is logged in and it will always work on the downloaded xbox.
