Gotta catch 'em all...I don't care what you all think...but those Staff Awards are still super cool in my fangirlish mind.

But I have a @Gus -sized hole in my collection.

Meaning, I am missing Gus's award.

I swear to God that wasn't a fat joke!

...Shit...I'm never getting that award now.

It Feels Like ForeverToday marks my 3 year anniversary on the Rooster Teeth website.

Three years.

In this day-and-age, three years is a hell of a commitment. Most cell phone plans don’t last that long. I’ve never even held a job for that long.

I try my damnedest not to brag about what I’ve become in the ranks of the RT Community. I promise that I will not hold back here…so I apologize for my bragging in advance!

I’ve accomplished so much on this site in three years.

Forged dozens of lifelong friendships locally, nationally, and globally.
Expanded my convention repertoire and discovered the beautiful phenomenon known as “fan-run events”. I would never have even thought about traveling to Toronto or Austin if it weren’t for these events!
Became more involved in charities. I would never have known about Extra Life or how to help raise money for Child’s Play if it were for the RT Community.
Bought an Xbox because the Drunk Tank podcast, the budding Achievement Hunter series, and Red vs Blue peaked my interest in the system.
I became a regular contributor to Late Night Jenga Jam GLIB SHARK Butt Cast
I have been cast in a couple of incredibly dynamic machinima series
Rooster Teeth Community Content of the Week! It may have slowed down significantly, but I’m working on breathing life back into the group.
6 time Featured User
729 followers and counting!
Being mistaken for Staff on countless occasions…online and offline.
Attended the first ever RTX with 600 of the Internet’s closest friends.
Becoming a Guardian RTX 2012
Leading the Guardians for RTX 2013
Working (note the vocabulary there) the Rooster Teeth booth at PAX for 2012 and confirmed for 2013
Having Gus and Barbara on my resume as references.

AND MUCH MORE

I want to make an Oscar Speech-like list of “Thank You”s, but I know that I’d accidently leave someone out and feel guilty about it for months. However, I cannot complete this journal without these shoutouts:

@Caleb: You emailed me a few years back to see if I would help with Achievement Hunter HORSE booth at Halo Fest. I believe that this was my gateway into more Rooster Teeth volunteering. Thank you for asking me to help. Thank you for your love and enthusiasm!

@Barbara: You have been my inspiration. You have a wicked sense of humor, a brilliant mind, and more passion than can possibly be contained.

@Gus: Thank you for giving Chris and I the opportunities to work alongside you. Thank you for your trust. I cannot say that enough.

@SirNarvy: Who knew that obsession would lead to such amazing things? AMIRIGHT?

To my friends and followers: I cannot express how much you all mean to me. With all honesty, I'm tearing up a little as I type this. This site is full of the most talented, crazy, charitable, funniest, and loving people I've ever met. You help bring out the best in me.

Many folks are surprised to hear that I've only been around for 3 years. I spent so long being the "Long-time listener; first-time caller" (better late than never, right?) and slightly frightened of joining a fansite. I quickly learned that this is NOT a fansite. This is a community in the truest sense of the word. This is a family and I am absolutely grateful for being welcomed into the fold.

Here's to 3 more years.

I love you.

GUARDIANS MAKE SOME NOISE!Hey, peeps!

As you have seen, it was announced that @SirNarvy and I are the Head Guardians for RTX 2013!
Thank you all for the kind words, funny text messages, promises of booze, and general kissing up Really, though...we are honored to be held in such esteem and to be given such an awesome opprotunity!

I can't wait to open that Guardian list and see what everyone is assigned to! More oun all this later...it's been a weird day (see below)

Here's to RTX 2013 and the FUCKING AMAZING Guardian team! Let's do this!

* I was at the dentist having an emergency root canal done, so I almost missed all the rejoicing! I'm logging off in a moment to head to the airport to fly to Canada!

* Chris and I will be in Calgary all weekend at Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo, so my cell phone and computer availability is next to ZERO. I just got a new phone, too...I wanna play with it!

* If you are at the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo this weekend, be sure to visit The Button Mash and get your @LukeMcKay loving on!

*I love you guys. The Rooster Teeth Community is really the best in the world

Hello, PAX PRIME$240+ later...Chris and I will be at PAX Prime all 4 days. (Yes 4 DAYS. That is why ticket prices jumped by $30. The WA Trade & Convention Center is a BITCH to rent, I'm here to tell ya)

I need a fucking drink after that ticket purchasing experience.

Seriously...I'll be walking funny for the rest of the day. It would have been nice to have the lube of a days notice. If I wasn't at my computer or if I was in a god damn department meeting...I would have completely missed out. I was on the moment tickets sales were announced and I still didn't get the 4 Day badge.

It's not the price I'm upset about...it's the selling out of tickets in 15 minutes that leaves me shaking.

You come to expect this kind of thing with HUGE convetnions, but it's difficult to get used to when the show is in your backyard. I guess I feel overly and unnecessarily entitled to a more sporting chance. But, then again, I have no idea what the process is like on the other side of my computer screen. These guys don't just say "Hey. Let's put tickets up". I bet you dollars to Private Donut that gearing up for PAX ticket for the next show starts the moment they sell completely out of the current show.

I want to vent...but I don't want to come acrossed as a sewer-mouthed caveman.
ME NOT GET 4 DAY BADGE FUCK MY LIFE (nothing wrong with your opinion, caveman brain....but I'm trying to be a lady here.)

People are pissed.
The ticketing site being used cannot accommodate the traffic.
PAX Prime is going to cost about what we're paying to attend RTX.
I can't wait to see some of you motherfuckers in September.

THE BRIGHT SIDE!
Also: If you are local and can't get a ticket for whatever reason (sold out, lack of money, whatever) - consider applying to be an Enforcer. One of the best event volunteer forces on the convention circut! You will meet terrific people, develop and utilize awesome team work skills, and be able to experience a convention from a different and exciting angle. Enforcers take their job very seriously because they have a hell of a reputation. If you think that you are Enforcer material, I urge you to apply.
RAISE YOUR HAND IN THE COMMENT SECTION IF YOU ARE AN ENFORCER! (not me, by the way...I just love Enforcers!)
Those are the people you can direct your questions to. Don't apply just to get a badge to the event...apply so you can work with a world famous team and be part of something pretty damn spectacular!

Applications are not up yet, but keep your eyes open!
