HipstersI was at work today, and I noticed that there seemed to be a lot of hipsters around. I don't know where they came from all the sudden, we don't have any festivals or anything happening right now. They just kinda appeared overnight.

DestinySo Bungie released a ViDoc about their new game Destiny today. It looks pretty good. Can't wait for a trailer. What do you guys think about it?

Sandy And ComputersSo, Hurricane Sandy knocked out my power on Monday. (Right after I watched Red vs Blue) And we finally got power back yesterday. We had a few trees fall, but they didn't break much. But our computer got hit with a surge sometime during the week, so that's in the shop waiting for the tech to come in tomorrow or Monday.
And the wifi at my job is slow as hell.

JobGot a job at one of the local grocery stores two weeks ago. They just moved to a bigger store so they hired a bunch of people. I'm working as a bagger, so I'm hoping to be transferred to another department whenever they have an opening.

Russian FoodI realized the other day that I've never made any Russian food before, so I made pelmeni. It turned out pretty well, and I think I'm going to try out a few more Russian/Slavic recipes.

FloorMy sisters and I took the carpet out of the sewing/computer room today, and then stained the floor. Moving all the furniture sucked. But at least we got the ugly carpet out.

Crocheting A HatI'm crocheting what I'm calling a ladies bowler hat. Something like this. I wanted to make it with raffia, but it wasn't turning out the way I wanted it to, so I'm making it with regular yarn instead.
