Modern Warfare 3 (spoilers)Today I finally finished my Modern Warfare 3 personal Challenge where I start the campaign on veteran difficulty with no background knoweldge of the missions or how to do the objectives. It was along and grueling process but now I have finished it this fine thurday night at 2:40am. I started back at the very beginning of mission 13, "stronghold" because for some reason my game did not save half way through the mission where I had previously ended my game so I had to start that over again. Then I did "Scorched Earth, Down the Rabbit Hole, and Dust to Dust" all tonight. I will admit like i expected the campaign missions got quite a bit more difficult towards the end of the game which I expected honestly. The final missions was extremely cool especially the biginning half of the mission because you just feel invinsible which is unusual on veteran difficulty. The second half of the final mission was by far the hardest part of the campaign for me because you get flanked all the time and my retarted AI teammates watched me die then killed the guy. Now I start Halo CE Anniversary.

Modern Warfare 3 (spoilers)This is now my third day of attempting my Modern Warfare 3 veteran Challenge. I finally got past that bitch of a mission "Back on the Grid" and i realized that I was failing at the techniqual part because i was not snapping to each target and mowing them down immidately. Sprint to the truck as it pulls up and mow down the gunner and you can get a bit of a head start from what seems all of Africa. The rest was easy stay in cover take your time. Then I had four hours to work on my challenge and I completed nine more missions. "Mind the Gap, Goalpost, Return to Sender, Bag and Drag, Iron Lady, Eye of the Storm, and Blood Brothers" all on veteran diffuculty and in one night. I didn't even realize it was 4am when I stopped playing but now i am extremely tired. I am currently on the level "Stronghold" and I will say that it is much more difficult than the previous missions in the campaign mode. The beginning is mostly stealth and I got pretty good at that after playing "Splinter Cell Conviction" but the second half is more of a challenge which I would expect when I am nearing the end of the game. So far in my opinion the campaign in Modern Warfare 3 is much easier than in Modern Warfare 2. I remember when you are near the end of the Modern Warfare 2 and the EMP hits and everything but the White House does not have electricity and there are billions of enemies on the white house and it was fucking insane. It was one of the hardest missions I have played in any game but once you get past it it make you feel incredibly proud of your self.

Modern Warfare 3 (spoilers)Continueing my Modern Warfare 3 personal challenge I completed two more missions on veteran difficulty. Persona non grata and Turbulence. I am attempting to keep this relatively spoiler free, but since I am including parts of the missions i feel that i should say that there is potential spoilers if you havent gotten to play the game yet. I will not mention cutscenes or anything of the sort because i am going to keep this completely plot spoiler free. When doing veteran on "Persona non Grata" you get the UGV thing and you can die if you stay in the open for to long so stay behind cover when using it. "Turbulence" was a very fun mission and towards the beginning there is a super cool moment but i can't mention it because it is a spoiler. The second half is not to bad, it is a little difficult because if your not in cover the enemies can fuck you up pretty quick. Currently i am doing "Back on the Grid" which is much harder than any of the previous missions. I am about half way through the mission and oh my goodness is it a challenge. But thats the it for now.

CoD: Modern Warfare 3 (spoilers)Well I started my Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 personal challenge where I start the game on veteran with background knowlege of the missions and the levels. I started this morning and I completed the first two levels. Black Tuesday was not too bad actually. I really like the new sight you get in that game thats a really cool addition. I only died a couple of times actually, just stay back and stay behind cover. The part with the New York Stock Exchange was the hardest part for me because there are some guys who come on the balcony.

Killer Hunter was not too bad if you just don't rush at all, relatively short level and submachine guns are the key. thats just about it

Gears 3 Rant (spoilers)So I have never played any of the Gears of War games before Gears of War 3. I decided that even though I have absolutely no idea how to play Gears of War 3 I wanted to challenge myself by attempting to complete this game alone on the hardest difficulty, similar to the achievement in Halo Reach. That was a fucking mistake!

I was near the end of act II of Gears 3 and you get to the part where you have to hijack the gasbarge and you are on the landing dock. I started that part at 9:00P.M. Pacific time. I knew that this would be hard but oh my fucking god i must have died over 200 times. I learned very quickly that you must always be on the opposite side of the gasbarge other wise its missiles will fuck you over, then I had to use my lancer for the first 4 pairs of gaurds, then grab their tourque bow ammo. Use that and don't miss, after the 6th or 7th pair of gaurds they now have boomshots, switch your lancer with that and then the barge lands. Hide imidiately and don't die, AT ALL. Kill the remaining guards with your exposive weapons. If you die at all you start over from the beggining of on the landing pad... I finally finish this part and my mom comes upstairs and comes into my room. She says "Tucker what the hell are you still doing up?" i said "what its only like 1? She says no Tucker its 3AM... I spend 6 hours of my damn life on ONE part of Gears 3...

The next night I start again and get up to the Lambent Beserker Boss. Fuck That on Insane man! Hard as Shit! the first like third of the boss battle is basic enough. Then when that damn immulsion leaks out if you touch it you die... I always end up getting pinned in a corner and get trampled by the beserker. Sigh... I spent easily 3 hours on that boss battle and I still can't beat it.... But its a fun fight

So moral of this story... Beating Gears of War 3 on insane sooo should be worth more than 75 gamerscore. I think like 750 is more like it.....

But i really enjoying that game so far... then in a week comes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 which I am very excited for. I am looking forward to another challenge. Start the campaign of that game on Veteran Difficulty!
Hopefully it will go better for me then Gears 3.
