As someone who doesn't facebook, sad is definitely the word that comes to mind

I laughed at first, then was all...

Also, while I have an account, it's mostly a redundancy for contacts and such.

it's also sad that it's now a verb...to "facebook" someone

I laugh at it, because it bothers people that I don't have a Facebook. Now, I did, but whatever to FB.

My Mom doesn't have one.
Man, it'd be nice if she disappeared.

When i didn't have a facebook account most of my friends tried for months to get one, and i eventually gave in and got one.
In retrospect it was not a brilliant idea couse the only thing i did was play texas hold'em and chat with the same friends i chat with before on messenger.
So after a month or two i got bored a just stopped logging.
In my opinion Facebook is overrated, but maybe thats just me

it's just sad that as a society this is what we've come to for being "friends"
"you're not my friend until its fb official!"

oh how the times have changed from actually calling someone on the phone or even just going to their house to see if they wanna kick it...

I used this excuse once or twice... I didn't feel bad about it.
