24 year-old male from Baltimore About the Maryland steamed crab.
This delicious crustacean, although far from the most beautiful seacreature, is considered a Maryland delicacy. Steamed and Fried for Hard and Soft shelled stages, repectively, the Maryland blue crab tastes unlike any other crustacean, seasoned with "Old Bay" (commonly known as chesapeak bay seasoning) it's a spicey dish. Crabs are, however, extremely high in Cholestrol. =(
"Crab cakes" (breading, eggs, mayo, seasoning, and crab meat) can be constructed, and are more widely apreciated than the plain steamed crab.
