Looper ReviewThis is a very unique movie in that time travel is used rather differently then most times. The idea of the mob using time travel as a way of getting rid of bodies was interesting and the whole futuristic world seems fascinating. The true strength of this movie is the two stories it shows. One is Joseph Gordon-Levitt trying to get out of the mafia life and go live a peaceful life away from it all. The other is Bruce Willis going back to the past and trying to change his future and the effect it had on others around him. I these combine stories because in a way Willis is the villain despite going about his goals the wrong way and Gordon-Levitt is the hero despite being selfish in his goals. T...

The special effects are nice to look at and the whole future world is believable and not over the top. The support cast is good with Jeff Daniels, Noah Segan and Emily Blunt all playing fun or interesting characters. Solid movie but not the "action" film it was marketed as but more of a "If you could change the future how far would you go?" story. Worth seeing for sure. 8.5/10
