Hey guys, I just wanted to give you all a heads up that Joel and I will be returning to the airwaves tomorrow morning to talk about Rooster Teeth, RTX and other things!
We'll be going live tomorrow morning at 9:00am CST on ESPN Radio Austin. You can listen in right here, and I'll post a link of the broadcast once it is finished somewhere on the site.
We're looking forward to taking to the air again and don't forget, you can come by and visit the guys from ESPN Radio this summer at RTX! They'll have a booth there and who knows what kind of shenanigans they'll be up to.

Deadline: June 22nd
The ground rules
1. You can create a game from scratch or use something you have been working on in the last 6 months.
2. You may submit as a sole contributor or as a team.
3. All content must be original and cannot contain copyrighted or trademarked materials.
4. Parodies are acceptable, as long as content and theme are original. Homage content is not acceptable.
5. No inappropriate or adult content. Items that would be considered “Teen” are acceptable.
6. Must be in attendance of RTX event July 7th at the Austin Convention Center to receive awards or arrange a proxy.
Submission Process
Contact IGDA-Austin at austinigda@gmail.com to submit the following information:
-Names of all contributors
-Genre
-Platforms
-Installation instructions
-Paragraph description of your game
--To submit the game please use Dropbox and send to: AustinIGDA
Submissions will be reviewed by video game professionals who are part of the IGDA-Austin chapter.
If you are one of the top ten finalists your game will be playable at the IGDA-Austin booth during the event. The Top three finalists will be announced at the event. Prizes to be announced soon!
You may now start waiting anxiously by your mailbox.
If you have ordered your ticket since Friday, or plan to order it in the future, do not worry- we will be mailing out badges every week as we get new orders.

The last day to buy your RTX ticket online is JUNE 15, 2012! After this day, they will no longer be available online, and you will have to buy them at the door. Don't wait until it's too late! Get yours NOW!
At RTX 2012, not only will we have awesome guests, panels, and exhibitors, but we're also having some really fun activities happening after hours!
One of these activities will be a Rooster Teeth/Internet themed Trivia night, taking place at the Convention Center, hosted by Geeks Who Drink! Geeks Who Drink is a homegrown Pub Trivia Quiz modeled after those in Ireland and the UK.
We will have 30 teams of 6, and it you want to play but don't have a team, no need to worry- there will always be people looking for extra members.
There will be a prize for the winning team.

RTX Educational PanelsWe get questions all the time about how to get into the gaming industry, or what software is used for certain productions, or what the process is to cast actors.
Luckily, RTX will be focusing on helping teach attendees all about this and more with our educational panels!
The first one I'd like to announce is a Writing panel featuring Burnie Burns and the writers for RvB and RT shorts!
We will be announcing more panels and guests as the weeks go on, so be sure to stay tuned!
