The most obvious change is the way our merchandise appears. We love the new layout, and we think it adds a unique and fun look to the store. You can choose to view products in the grid format or the list format, depending on how you like to roll. All the tabs have moved from the top of the page over to the left-hand side, and they expand to show you the various item types within the categories.

Reviews and Questions
We've changed "comments" to "reviews" and "questions". When you review a product, you can give it a star rating, and let us know what you think! Feel free to go back to products you've purchased in the past and add your reviews for those, too. The "questions" section.. well, is for questions. Want to know details about sizing, material, or if something is available in a women's cut? Ask it there, and we'll respond. Adding both reviews and questions in replacement for comments makes it easier for us to find out about issues, and allows you to give your feedback in a more effective manner. I give this news post 5 stars. See? SMART!
User submitted photos
Did you buy one of our products? Want to show it off? Now you have the ability to submit a photo of you wearing/using that product, and once it's approved, it will show up on the product page! This is definitely a chance to get creative. We can't wait to see what you submit!

Featured Categories
Don't know what to get? That's the beauty of the featured categories! We have new products, top sellers, and items that are "last chance", which means they are going out of stock soon and are available for a discounted price.
We are so excited about this new store, and we hope you love it as much as we do! Now shop til' you drop, baby. Or until you lose feeling in your butt from sitting in your computer chair.

If you guys watched the Rooster Teeth PAX panel you already know the dates for RTX 2013. Everyone else? You're out of luck.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh got ya. We are very happy to announce that RTX 2013 will take place on July 5th, 6th and 7th of next year. We will have a lot more space in the convention center and we already have some awesome stuff lined up! As you might have noticed, we've expanded the event to 3 days with the first day taking place on Friday. Come down a little early and celebrate the 4th of July in Austin! There are a lot of festivities and fireworks downtown. It should be a blast.
We'll be making updates through the next 10 months on RTXEvent.com
Take a surveySo, about once a year we like to take a survey of people on the site to get a better idea of who you guys are as a whole. If you have a few minutes to spare can you take this survey?
All of the questions are optional, so if there are any questions you don't like, just skip them. Please be honest. We don't associate survey results with your user account so we can't tell what any one person said specifically so don't worry, your answers are anonymous.

This journal is a week late because right after RTX finished, I was off to San Diego for Comic Con for 6 days. I can say it was the most exhausting 2 weeks of my life. I was on my feet from 7 AM on Thursday, July 5 until Monday, July 16th. I think I slept for a total of 22 hours in the last 24 hours.
So yeah, RTX. What an experience. The months leading up to it were crazy, the 2 weeks before it were a blur, and the actual event was.. well.. ridiculous. What was a 4,000 person event seemed to be a 50,000 person event. We learned a lot for next year-- how to make things better, how to avoid some issues we had, and how to grow next year into...

What was a 4,000 person event seemed to be a 50,000 person event. We learned a lot for next year-- how to make things better, how to avoid some issues we had, and how to grow next year into an even more awesome time for everyone. It was so great getting to see so many old friends and new faces, and to hear about other people's experiences with the event. So many exhibitors gave us feedback saying how awesome our attendees were.. and all I could say was "yeah, the RT community.. they are the best people in the world". You all were so patient and kind, even though things weren't always perfect. I've never seen such a big group of people just..happy to be somewhere. Happy to meet others from the community and to experience this event we've been working on for so long.
BIG THANKS GO TO:
- Our Guardians and Guardian Team Leaders. Thank you for your time, dedication, and energy. You all stepped up more than I could ever hope, and handled every situation so perfectly. We got so many compliments from both our Exhibitor Services team and Convention Center team. They asked if they could use you guys for every event they had. Thank you for taking everything that went wrong on Saturday and making it better for Sunday. I know that every year will be that much better with you guys on our team.
- Every single attendee-- so many of you came up to thank me for having a hand in RTX, and I said this every time: we do this for you. No matter how hard it is, how many sleepless nights I had, or stressful moments during the event, it's all worth it to hear how much fun you all had and how much you appreciated it. I also want to take this opportunity to apologize to any attendee I had to brush off during the weekend. As you may know, I was involved in most of the front-of-house operations of RTX, so I was constantly being pulled in 100 directions. This caused me to have to run all over the place, and at times I didn't have a moment to stop and talk to people. There's nothing I love more than meeting and hanging out with fans, and I felt terrible for having to walk away. Just know I love you all and I wish I could have spent more time meeting you guys.
- And last but not least, Gus. I don't think I could have done this event with anyone else. As crazy as things got, you stayed calm and kept me sane. You somehow managed to handle every issue right away even though you were just as busy as I was.
We've already started talking about 2013. I can't wait to see you all again!
Oh, and if you've written a journal or posted any youtube videos about the event, please link them here! I want to read/see them all!
RThanXI didn't think it would happen, but I survived RTX. We have attended events for eight years now so I thought I had an idea of the amount of work and planning that went into running an event and I was wrong by probably a tenfold. I had a lot of help here and wanted to thank the people involved. Thanks to Faith and Alan for bringing all our great exhibitors and sponsors to the show. The hall would have been very empty without you guys. Thanks to Adam for wrangling our crazy tech issues and requirements and making the technology look easy. Thanks to Kara for taking care of all our guests and running around like crazy. Thanks to Yvonne and Kathleen for manning the RT store and being ...

Thanks to Kara for taking care of all our guests and running around like crazy. Thanks to Yvonne and Kathleen for manning the RT store and being flexible enough to rearrange the layout of the store to serve more attendees. Thanks to Jack for laying out the Achievement Hunter lounge and making sure it was a fun destination. Thanks to Chris for designing the Immersion Museum and filling it with tons of cool hands on stuff for attendees. Thanks to Brandon for not only shooting the concert but also getting up super early Sunday to wrangle the live action shoot. Thanks to Ben for setting up our live stream page and taking care of our social media needs throughout the weekend. I swear I saw you instagramming while sleeping. Thanks to Brian for working several sleepless nights on graphics and print elements for the show. Thanks to ALL the guardians, and all the volunteers we had working in the RT store.
Additional thanks to every exhibitor, sponsor and guest who believed enough in us to come out and join us in our first foray into the Austin Convention Center. Your support made this happen and we won't forget.
Special thanks to Twitch.tv for the live streaming sponsorship. I had my doubts about streaming the event but I was wrong. I can't imagine having a cool event like this and not sharing it with the world. Alienware was the official PC sponsor of the show and we used their fine machines to play games, stream video to the internet, Skype with Mr. Elijah Wood and chat with stream attendees. Plantronics Gamecom fulfilled all our headset needs. In addition to loaning us headsets, they also stocked us up with plenty of units to give away as prizes and I know every person who won one was ecstatic about it. Thanks to Wizards of the Coast who gave us thousands of Magic the Gathering decks to GIVE AWAY TO OUR ATTENDEES. That is mind blowing to me. I gotta give thanks to Razer who gave us plenty of Onza Xbox controllers to give away as prizes. They event went as far as to make a video about RTX!
Special guests came from all over to join us. There are WAY too many to list here, so look at our guest page.
I want to call out one guardian in particular. Chris, you were awesome. The convention center says they want to have 100 of you to hire to help them with future events. You consistently looked for things to do and helped seek out issues you could assist with. It did not go un-noticed.
My last special thanks is for Barbara "Flerp Flerps" Dunkelman. Barbara, you were there as early as me and as late as me every day. Without you running the front of the house I couldn't have run the back of the house. I think we were both delirious and exhausted by Sunday night but I don't think I could have survived without you there to help tackle the work. You helped make the event a success and I appreciate it.
I had so much help I'm positive I've forgotten somebody. I'm truly sorry, there were so many moving parts helping to pull this off and they were all super important.
Overall I'm super happy with RTX. Things weren't 100% flawless and we're going to work hard to make next year even better. We've identified what needs to happen and we have time to execute it. Thanks for your support everyone. You make the hard work all worth it.
