2 Billion Views on YouTube!Whoa... that was fast. Less than a year ago we were celebrating reaching 1 billion views on YouTube, and now we've done it again. Today we crossed the 2 billion views mark on our main channel, youtube.com/RoosterTeeth . Simply unbelievable! Thanks to everyone who watches our videos and subscribes. And if you haven't yet heard, we're branching out. Those wily Achievement Hunter chaps have started a spiffy new YouTube channel that will be home to all our of Let's Plays. It's conveniently located at youtube.com/LetsPlay - so go subscribe to it right now!
You may or may not have noticed that we've launched a new channel on youtube today! It's our official Let's Play channel, and if you want to know why/what it's all about, you can watch this special announcement video.
We're very excited to create this new home for our Let's Plays, and hope that you will enjoy it too. Immediately, this means we're going to go to five videos a week! However, we have a lot of fun ideas we're planning on introducing through it, and we hope to get to more than five a week pretty soon. Please take the time to visit the page (http://www.youtube.com/letsplay) and subscribe. Once again, as of today, all of our Let's Plays will now be posted on the new channel, and not the Rooster Teeth one.
Of course, you could also just watch them via this amazing site you're reading this journal on right now as well!

- Registration will open on Thursday, July 4th (Time TBD). You'll need to bring a print-out of your ticket (you should have received an email from EventBrite after purchasing your pass online). This ticket will be used to pick up your badge for the weekend. You will also be given your goodie bag, which will include a lanyard for y...

We recently held a contest for users to submit a video talking about their experience with Rooster Teeth, and what the last 10 years have meant to them. We received a ton of entries, and we all were so unbelievably moved. Thank you to everyone who shared their stories, wrote songs, made photo montages, or just said "thanks". Not going to lie, some *cough* manly tears may have been shed while watching your submissions. Make sure you check them out!
It's unbelievable to see where Rooster Teeth started on April 1, 2003, and where we are now. Red vs. Blue is coming up on its 11th Season, the community has grown to almost 1.5 million members, 4 Million subscribers on YouTube, and 1 million Likes on Facebook, and we've gone from a spare bedroom to a full-blown studio with over 30 full time employees. We've gone to events all around the world, met thousands of fans, hosted our own convention, won awards, and started many new shows and projects.
We can't say it enough- we wouldn't be here without you. Your support, loyalty and enthusiasm proves to us every day that we truly have the greatest fans in the world, and you're the reason we keep doing what we do. RTX Hotels 2.0Housing Opens on January 29, 2013 RTX has secured room blocks at specially discounted rates. These room blocks are managed by a housing bureau, not the individual hotels. In order to receive these discounts, reservations must be made on line via the RTXevent.com web site. You will not be able to secure these rates by contacting the hotels directly.
New Reservations, Modifications, Cancellations - Please do not call hotels, but go to the official on-line Passkey GroupMax housing website through ( RTXevent.com ). Changes and modifications may be made online using the acknowledgement number you receive once you have booked.

Deposit & Taxes A credit card number is required to guarantee all reservations and is processed upon arrival, with the exception of the Hilton Austin hotel. They will charge 1 night's deposit on June 4th, when they download reservations from the web site. All rooms are subject to a 9% lodging tax if you are tax exempt, 15% if you are not tax exempt.
Housing Deadline is June 4th You must make your reservation by June 4th to qualify for discounted rates; however the RTX room block may be sold out before this date, so make your reservations early. Requests for rooms pre/post-convention may not be available through the Housing Bureau. Please contact the hotel directly for additional room nights needed based on availability at the regular rate.
You can continue making modifications or cancellations until the web site Close date of June 27th, and after this date you will have to contact the hotels directly.
Booking outside the "RTX Window" If you want to book nights outside of the contracted room nights at the discount rate, you will have to contact the hotel directly for availability at the regular rate. Hotels that do not show on the screen to book from, after the attendee has selected the arrival, departure dates, number of rooms and room type needed, are not available based on information provided.
