while looking stuff up on wikipedia on the verius things i may need to know when i'm finally in the army i got to wondering if they had info on ME2 well it actully payed off and here it. it states that they do plan make sherpad the main chacarter of the trilogy so here it is verbaitom.

"The first trailer for this game indicates that Commander Shepard has been killed in action.[6] It is uncertain whether or not this is the case given that players have been asked to keep their saved game from Mass Effect as well as statements from developers in the past which have implied that Commander Shepard will be the main character in the planned Mass Effect trilogy."

Don't think me trying to knock you Lowpez, but Wikipedia is not the right source to prepare yourself for the military. It's pretty certain that we shouldn't take the trailer verbatem. More on Shepard's true whereabouts will be revealed later.

i know i've got a book on the hole history of the US Army as well as books on the verious jobs i want to do in the army so wikipedia is not my only source and as for ME2 trailer i agree but my father always said "assume nothing and plan to have to deal with everything" so shepard could be dead or could be alive. i personally just want to know more about the wait is killing me you know lol.

i agree with dmtaoist u cant rely on wikipedia to prepare u for the army it all depends on urself and take the lessons from thoses who been there

I've seen this situation in games before. I think that you either play as Shepard untill' the end of the game and he dies then. Or he dies and you play as someone else and try to figure out who killed him in side missions. Like the Cerberus missions

in my PoV shepard ditched his old N7 gear and never told any1 where he was going... he's a spectre and spectres are assholes... atleast mine are :)

my shepard went to kamino where he is makeing a epicly massive clone army so that when the reapers come back the clones can do all the work
