When Aqualad pretends to stab her, we see Artemis bite down on something before falling. During the reveal it is implied that it was some sort of drug to temporarily stop her heart so they could fool Superboy.
I didn't mean the whole Lagoon Boy thing--that's nothing. I meant more that I think Nightwing and maybe even the others, suspect that Miss Martian has been...shall we say more grey in her morals then the rest of them. As Superboy said--she's been abusing her psychic powers in ways that aren't really in line with what the good guys do.
And it can't possibly have escaped their notice that every time she 'interrogates' a prisoner they end up vegetables. They may feel she's a liability when it comes to following procedure (they'd forgive her breaking rank to save Lagoon Boy, not like the rest of them haven't done it for someone at some point, but her irresponsibility with her powers...and they don't even KNOW She tried to mind wipe Connor).

Ah the preview said its a new episode of Young Justice next week though didn't it? With Korra on break til the 23rd (and that being the season finale) and this on break I'm going to not have a Saturday morning again :sigh:
Yes, losing Korra will be sad. Just got used to having new episodes of Avatar again. Really washes away the taste of that mind-numbingly bad movie. And the Avatar thread is jumping once again. So nice.

Korra isn't on break till the 23rd. This was the 9th episode and there are 12 this season. 23rd is the double length season finale. We have 1 more ep till then which is next weekend. I'm not sure why everyone thinks it's on hiatus again
My preview said that Korra returns on the 23rd for an hour length season finale. And according to my DVR schedule there isn't a new episode next weekend.
"Turning the Tides" - Air date June 16th. Don't trust your DVR. Mine randomly doesn't record Korra sometimes. Pisses me off a lot.
My guess - the fewer people they tell, the better. Like you said, it's reasonable to assume that they wouldn't have let Wally in on it if the two weren't dating, and I'm guessing they're trying to keep as many people in the dark about their secret operation as possible. Helps avoid leaks better that way.
One other thought I had on it, and I know Nightwing and Artemis had the chat about Wally being worried she'd get back into the hero bit, but the four that knew....none would be thought of to dig deep into their activities. Aqualad is a turn-coat, Artemis and Wally are retired, and Nightwing admitted he was pretty much just the team mission leader. These core four didn't look like they were out and about doing covert work or even working together.

Nope, next weekend it's Misplaced, then Coldhearted, and so on.
I think they are going to play through those episodes, and then back through the second season up till the new episode.
So that would mean a new episode would be, theoretically, in September.
But no one knows for sure when it's coming back. Just hoping they don't pull another six month hiatus. I think the fandom would rage quit if that happens.
I don't know if they need to bridge the 5 year gap. What's happened has been explained pretty well.
I'm just gonna go cry in the corner right now and...I'm not sure. :sigh: Maybe I'll...do something...productive on Saturdays. Though I have no reason to get up early anymore.

Exactly what i thought. "Soon...Artemis will die"
I feel guilty about laughing about it right now.
Maybe if she did THAT they'd be like 'Dude wtf is wrong with Miss Martian?' Though one would also assume she'd see the master plan they were concocting and hopefully STOP...or go completely batshit crazy and strip everyone's minds...
no no no, cannot have to throw poo at cartoon network now
I'd definitely like more of the Main Man. :D
I knew that he was only hanging around for the one episode and Batgirl/Wonder Girl would be around for a while yet, so it was all right for me. Though I admit I was at odds with Wonder Girl since part of me is like 'w00t now I can have Cass/Connor!' and the other part of me is 'BUT I WANT DONNA TROY WHY DO I NOT GET DONNA TROY?'
stupid legal hang upsDigression - I had hoped since this was leaning more towards the Teen Titans then Young Justice (content wise and team wise) at first, that they'd introduce her and Judas and we'd get not only the Judas Contract, but also 'Who is Donna Troy?' (since they sort of already did the Trigon angst, Blackstire/Starfire angst and Terra angst in the Teen Titans show) cause I got screwed out of the Judas Contract DC animated film (stupid bloodsuckers), but well.
It's not good to bottle up all that DC bitterness like that.
He wasn't over powered imo. He was exactly where he should be. To quote Hal Jordan, he's one of the only people to ever give Superman a bloody nose.
And I'd like to see him come back as a plot device in the sense that the new team is in a spot they can't handle, and with all the big super powers off Earth, maybe they hire Lobo to crack some skulls. Sounds plausible to me.
Me and my bitterness towards DC knows no bounds in the last five years or so. Which is why I was surprised I enjoyed Young Justice as much as I did (still do, is it September yet?). But then I guess since they don't have to deal with the shite happening right now or before in the other 'Earth' universe(s) they can make things more entertaining and interesting.
In reply to Commando_Joe, #112:
I could see the new team hiring him--they do take the 'Whatever it takes' approach (or some of them do) and if things go THAT badly for the Justice League while on trial (come on does no one think its being sabotaged against them?) they could want to do something about it.
I want a Sins of Youth homage (like they did with "Misplaced" being a version of "World Without Grown-ups"), since Klarion's hanging about. But that might be a bit too much wishful thinking (and most of the fun is seeing Wonder Girl man up and be like 'Bitches you think kid heroes are something to scorn? SCORN THIS')
Not only that, but Lil' Lobo or Slobo was a member of the Young Justice team in the comic series, so I'd love for them to work him into the roster. Give a super powered hot head to make Superboy look normal.
Someone better than fish lips.
lol yeah this Superboy is kind of more like Teen Titans Superboy, not really like the Young Justice one who was brash, reckless, arrogant and mischievous (well until the Tania incident...). I liked Lil Lobo, its what made me look into his character actually (I read mostly The Flash, Teen Titans and Legion of Superheroes as a kid, didn't have much interaction with Lobo).
...I really really really dislike LagoonBoy. I don't even care if Miss Martian wants to date him, or he's the best thing since sliced mahi mahi--SO ANNOYING.
Yeah, sums up my problem with Lagoon Boy.
THAT is fucking hilarious and yes. Yes it does.
NEPTUNE'S BEARD! DX
This video speaks the truth!
I'm just glad this Nightwing isn't like the one in "Batman: Under the Red Hood".
I don't know how I got through him stating the obvious for his entire appearance.
"Look it's a robot"
"Watch out for the laser eyes!"
O.o Well, duh
