Comic and Anime Cons 2013I just wanted to know if anyone on RVB is going to Anime Iowa 2010 and if you are, I also wanted to know if you're going to cosplay or not and if you are i'd love to know what you're going as.
Master Ninja had a good idea w/ a thread for Con plans for 2010....I am just going to expand his idea to any and all Cons.
If anyone is going to a Con, post it here and make plans w/ anyone else. here is a good site to see what and when, in regard to Conventions

Anime Boston is going to be April 22 to 24. Unfortunately I've heard that's around Easter this year... Luckily there is a chapel right next to the Convention center in the Pru.
Pax East is going to be on March 11th to the 13th. Also in Boston but they've moved to a different convention center this year but it's not too far from the Hynes.
There's also Anime Next in Somerset, New Jersey on June 10th to 12th. It's a hassle to get there but there's a hotel on the premise. It's a small convention but it's nice.
Those are the only ones I've been to. Hope it helps you with your search.

The worst part is that I actually live there.
Sadness, it was a good year this year but next year promises to be better, especially with Wizard World going down the tubes

I didn't put this in the con thread as it already happened, and Im not even sure if anyone else from here was there. The event was absolutely incredible, biggest wall of people Ive ever seen, cosplayers in their hundreds, and local conbini and merchandise prices jacked up to an insane degree.
