NASCAR 2010I don't feel like posting the rules and the members are mostly the same so just refer to the link below to the first page of the 2009 thread for all the rules.
i think ruetimann will do another top 15 run in the points this year, although he did seem to fade from the radar during the second half of last year. it will be interesting to see how truex will perform with the 56, although i think he will do better than in 2009. i think the petty/everham teams will perform about the same as last year.
Well, Montoya has had some success. Stewart came from Open wheel, but the World of Outlaws, totally different concept of racing. I love F1, but the cars are fragile and the competition is driven by $ at a higher rate than Nascar currently is, but Nascar is heading that way for sure.
Ticket prices to high, rules keep changing every race, the appearance that the management has favorites among the drivers (whose doesn't), the economy, these are on my list, yours?
Hey, if it is a big hunk of metal or hurt, I am for the safety of the drivers. But it seems a water bottle or a piece of foam stops the race as many times the hard debris.
i still remember how kasey kahne commented on the cautions after getting wrecked at california. it was something along like "nascar threw a debris caution when there was no debris. rather than just letting us race they decide they must put on a show for the fans.
meh...

couple of things that are floating around in the news:
the length on a couple of races have been changed.
one team will not return (at least for daytona.)
well hell, ANYONE has a shot, if were going to go as far as Jr. we could say that Waltrip has a shot as well...
does he still have a team together for 2010?
If Mikie wins it will be as owner, cause he retired end of 2009. I believe they are running 3 cars.
for some reason I never go to nascar.com durring the off season...
I think the three are Ruetimann, Truex and Ambrose. 00, 55 and 47 numbers. Maybe I am out of touch as well.
turex's car number was switched from 55 to 56, ruetimann and ambrose are the same.
He black mailed them after he got canned.
the open wheel invasion continues...

From what I recall of some leaked Flav letters, the threats started when they were assessing NP's further involvement with the team before axing him.
So then Flav and company is just as stupid and or arrogant as he is.
Nascar is heading some way, though God knows where. I sure don't, and I'll bet they don't either.
I heard that the wings are out and spoilers are back. Make up your mind.
The Busch cars will have spoilers, but Cup will stay with the wings, unfortunately.
Heh. That's one small angle of a much larger issue. But yes, that too.

I think I found the new racing I will be watching. Brilliant, lets hope they can drive as good as the look.
Lets see how they do, who knows maybe they can get somewhere. Never hurts to try
Saw them in the ARCA series at Kentucky a year or two ago. There was around a dozen cautions, half of which were caused by the Cope sisters.
