Favorite Game (For tournaments)

Favorite Game (For tournaments)Tournaments have been out for a while now, and it seems that almost all the tournaments are played on games the creator chose. However, I think that tournaments would be more successful if the creators knew which games a lot of the community would want to play, that way tournaments aren't made for games that honestly maybe two people would enter.

So my question to everyone is...
What game(s) do you think would make a good tournament? And to prevent this from becoming a huge discussion about "how much you hate that game." If you see someone posted a game that you also like, instead of posting it again, just +1 the post that has the game in it.

Worms. I'm not sure that a lot of people have it, but they should. It allows for 2-4 online multiplayer are is lot of fun. Apart from not enough people having it, it would make a great tournament game.

I would just want to play a 4v4 mlg tournament, basically you just get 16 teams and if they are good or bad just whatever and let them play, just play on the mlg maps of v6 and the mlg games; such as mlg ball, flag, king, or just plain old slayer.

1v1 SSBM. I do tournaments with my friends all the time. Three stock, 8 minutes, final d and no items. It is the best ever

i think a left 4 dead survival tournament should be made, like the map changes each round and the top half of each round for times advances.

gears of war its just awesome to play online...for a tournament it would be cool....then...i dont know....brutal legend...team fortress 2....etc etc...there s tons of games that are awesome for a tournament!!!! especially on the 360

H3 works great for solo or team. MW is much more team oriented, at least to me. Either one of these are great. If you wanna go outside the box, how about some good ol' Red Alert II tournaments? Cheers to rts.

Lol, I'd play worms. My suggestion is 5v5 Counter Strike Source. Something that everybody will get raged at equally.

If not 5v5 I can always kick someone's ass in a surf map haha!

I would say either some sort of shooter like CoD or Halo because those games require tactical and strategy to play or maybe like a racing game such as burnout or forza because to my understanding, you can upgrade your cars to make them faster and all that. So if you have somebody that has more time on a certain racing game, you would have a bigger chance of winning.
