The Big Red OneHello,
I just checked all 6 pages and there are no threads for this old WWII movie. If any of you have seen it, please let me know. Just reply w/ a yes and pm me if you really want to talk about it! For all those who have never seen or heard of it, It is a slightly humorous but tragic WWII movie made in 1980. It is worth a watch!

So, if you have seen it please dont talk about it here, other than to say you have seen it!

Let it be known that i NEVER come to this forum. And the one time i do there is a thread about one of my favorite movies. I got really sick onetime and my dad was like "have you seen The Big Red One?" and i was all like "*cough*no*cough*". So i popped it into the 'ole VCR and i loved it. It's not that well done but i think it's still kickass.

this htread has been defunct for a week so now I will say what it is I did not want to say earlier, cause last time I said it, the thread I said it on got locked. The Big Red One is where RT got ideas and names for RvB. There was Sarge, played by Lee Marvin, and I know there have been countless Sarges in war movies, but those other Sarge's never had a guy named Griff as one of his core platoon members. Griff was played by Mark Hammill, and Sarge was always shooting at him to get him to do his job. There was another member of the team who had hemrhoids, nd he carried a red Donut w/ him to sit on. So, thats 3 character form this movie that made it into RvB. Where did Simmons come from?
