bad day today...I've got this slight shaking in my hands that I've had since shortly after lunch time, due to what occured at work today. I don't know why, but my morbid curiosity apparently got the best of me, so I walked over to look at what happened. I shouldn't have. I don't want to remember that image, but it's been running through my head since I saw it.
A coworker of mine was using a table saw, and for some really idiotic reason, he was wearing a thick, lawn work type glove while pushing a small piece of wood on to the blade. Apparently he didn't see his hand was as close as it was, but the blade snagged the pinky on the glove....and then the actual pinky. He lost the top third of the pinky, and from what the shop foreman guy that took him to the hospital said, he was going to have the bone that was still remaining filed down and the skin pulled over it.
I don't want to keep thinking of that gruesome looking finger, but it's burned into my mental retina.
