In Valhalla, the Reds discuss their new base given to them as a reward for their services to the military and it is revealed that the Blues have moved into the adjacent one as Caboose apparently attempts to insert Epsilon into a new body. It is revealed that the Alpha AI is actually created from the memories of the Director, the original Leonard Church, and that Tex was a woman Church loved that was killed years ago and that his memories of her were stored in an AI. The fate of the Alpha, Church, is left ambiguous.
